Volunteer Positions Available
For the past four decades, Live Art Dance has been Atlantic Canada’s premier presenter of contemporary dance. Our mandate is to deliver an annual contemporary dance series featuring diverse works from Canadian and international dance artists. Our vision is to be nationally recognized as the leading provider of, and advocate for, contemporary dance in Atlantic Canada. Locally, we strive to be a catalyst for a vibrant and healthy dance ecology in Nova Scotia, and we are grateful to our board members for helping us make it happen!
General Board Members
We are seeking individuals with a passion for dance and a desire to support and engage with the governance of Live Art Dance.
Specific skills needed:
- Human resource experience
- Networking skills
- Organizational skills – to help with events – a wine tasting this summer and Twisted Black Tie in 2024
- Fund-raising experience
- Interest in governance issues
Opportunities exist to join a committee that fits your skills and interests.
Options: Personnel, Fundraising, Event Coordination, Nominations, Governance.
