About the Lecturer:
Sara Hartland-Rowe is a painter who lives in Halifax. She teaches part-time in the Painting and Drawing department of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Hartland-Rowe has exhibited her work across Canada, and in Europe, the US and Argentina; she is currently exhibiting a large site-based work that is travelling to three museums and galleries in Nova Scotia. She has been the recipient of grants from Arts Nova Scotia and the Canada Council; her commission for the Dartmouth Bridge Terminal, Travellers, was short-listed for the Lieutenant-Governor’s Masterworks Award in 2015.
