Winner of the 2021 Diane Moore Creation Award
Live Art Dance is pleased to announce that Newfoundland and Labrador choreographer Candice Pike is the winner of the 2021 Diane Moore Creation Award (DMCA). This annual award honours Live Art Dance’s founder Diane Moore and is inspired by her passion for dance creation and her support of Atlantic Canadian Artists.
Winner of the 2020 Diane Moore Creation Award
This award will go into the creation of Home Economics
This work is a dance/wearable sculpture creation project that contests the societal norm of how women are evaluated and categorized by quantity (age, size, etc…), from the millennial perspective.
Winner of the 2019 Diane Moore Creation Award
The award went into the creation of Im perfect ion, a solo work that was presented at Connection Dance works in Fall 2019 and Kinetic Studios in 2020.
