Shion’s contemporary class will involve both improvisation and choreographed movement sequences, with an aim to feel good in the body while using functional mechanisms of movement. Through explorations that contrast between tension, control, fluidity, and release, we’ll discover various qualities and dynamics in our dance. Moving to a range of music that can inform our movement quality, this class will focus on setting a fun and focused tone together that prepares us to take on the rest of our day.
