The forefront of the image is a dead tree. The tree’s food resembles driftwood and is bleached by the sun. On the tree is a woman with long black hair, dressed in all white, laying on a branch with her back to the camera. In the background is a lush green forested area blurred out. The dead tree seems to be in a clearing

Sky Dancers by A’nó:wara Dance Theatre

Performance

Sky Dancers by A’nó:wara Dance Theatre is a poignant tribute to this disaster, to the lives of the ironworkers lost and to the families torn apart by an incident that caused intergenerational trauma for the whole community. Kahnawake is the home community of choreographer Barbara Kaneratonni Diabo. Louis D’Ailleboust (Diabo), one of the men who perished, was her great-grandfather.

Two performers in loose fitting gray suits and messy space buns stand back to back. One looks off to the side while the other looks down their nose at the camera. They both have quizzical looks on their faces. They are under stage lights and the background is black.

Out of Order

Performance

Watch Les 7 Doigts’s latest circus creation, ‘Out of Order’ streaming on demand in Canada and France until September 30th.

A multi coloured, multi patterned blob is in the upper left corner. "2021" is red letters along the side. The words "Creative Convergence Créative'' are in black letters in the bottom right corner. Further to the right are the words "Save the Date! Réserve Cette Date!" in black letters on a black and white polkadot background.
