Artistic Co-Director of Mocean Dance, Sara Coffin holds an MFA in Choreography and Performance at Smith College in Northampton, MA (2014), as well as a BFA in dance at Simon Fraser’s School for the Contemporary Arts. She has won multiple awards for her work as a dancer and choreographer and has toured cross Canada. Sara is interested in the vulnerability of the human body, and she has led many classes, workshops, and intensives in technique, improvisation, composition. Her ongoing interest in Contact-Based Dance is one shared by Compañía Sharon Fridman, so come join us and find out more about this dynamic and physical approach to dance.

The Talk-back is an informal Q&A series that offers audiences informed insight into themes being addressed within a performance. Learn about the vision, the inspiration, and the production! A chance to talk to the artists and learn more about contemporary dance.
Don Rieder is a performer and author who has worked with Cirque du Soleil, The National Circus School in Montreal, En Piste, The National Theatre School of Canada, and numerous American and Canadian universities. Since 1978, he has toured across North America and Europe. He is also a master teacher with forty years of teaching experience.
